If i go for the alexander i have to opt for the PE2-4 isn't it? since i going to pair it with a 5000PG Suggest bring your reel down to the tackle shop and feel for yourself. As mentioned the giant killing more like for light jigging. I would match it for a smaller reel 3k or 2.5k. But for a 5k reel the Alexander will be a better choice.

Actually I would have gone higher maybe a size 5k Shimano size reel. The elf 5k pg is pretty decent max drag of 10kg. Go for a pe5 rod, good enough for everything.

Yes that's a Pacu they call it ikan bawal direct translation master pomfret. That day the weight range from 4 - 10 kg was released. The sub 5 kg range can even jump to throw hooks just like the KBL. Too bad didn't have any chance to take more pictures as I was busy hooking up and fighting....
