Abu Black Max Review
hi, any bro has got abu black max, care to review on its performance?
I've heard mixed reviews, nevertheless, intending to get one because it's budget and nice looking little low profile reel.
please advise bros!

Re: rod and reel set up
I think i just made a mistake, not sure if it's one. Rod line strength is 15-30lbs. I just loaded my reel with 30lbs tuf line, the red is too nice. fell for it. haha. BUT, the actualy breaking strain of the 30 lbs tufline is 37lbs. actually, shouldbe alright right. I know that's a general rule, but ...

Why, any idea?
Hi, just came across something quite exasperating for me. wonder if anyone knows why. I have been casting rods out of bedok jetty, i always get a little feedback, almost momentarily that's all. when I retrieve, the tamban is almost bitten off into half or left a tiny little part. I am using size 3/0...

Re: rod and reel set up
haha seriously, i dont know where you get all that knowledge from, but thanks! when you meant servicing, you meant oiling the inside of the reel? do people lubricate the lines? :D anyway sidetrack a bit, how much roughly does it cost and where do i get the boat to get to southern islands, and is it ...

Re: rod and reel set up
by the way, after using the braided line for the first time last week, I do realised it's really much easier to cast further than mono. However, does all braided line feels rough when you are retrieving it on the reel? or is it my tica cambria reel is not suitable for braided line. anyway been readi...

Re: rod and reel set up
I see, thanks! that brings me to more questions I hope you dont mind! I ams already using braided line, because the mono line couldnt cast very far. Does the rod need to have SIC guides in order to be better to use braided? SIC guides btw, refer to something like FUJI SIC guides right? Another quest...

Re: Erm a question..
hi, i noticed you asked about prawning as well. I have been prawning for awhile now, so i thought i might share my humble experience. if you are using the rods they provide, the float is usually adjustable. Dip your rod into the pond and get a feel of how deep it is, then adjust your float according...
