Big ray landed!
Went down yesterday and was chased off my spot because it was super crowded... had to walk far down. Didn’t manage to jig much squid, and ended up only catch one. Baited it up on long snood and lobbed it out! Before even 10 minutes, my reel went screaming. After a long, one hour + fight with me and ...

Sure! I’ve asked quite a few people and no one had seen it before. Was very confused when the fish surfaced LOL.

Re: First CR after circuit breaker!
Headed down today for a short trip, my friend landed a strange fish I’ve never seen before!
Any ID? I think it looks like a false trevally, from google images. It was quite large, I think exceeded a kilo on the scale!

First CR after circuit breaker!
Headed down today at 7 am in the morning armed with some live prawns! There was quite a bit of action and takes but no hook ups. I decided to jig for some tamban for surf. At around 11am, my surf baited with a live kuning on LSBF had a good hard take! I was away jigging with sabiki but my friend hel...

Re: Pre circuit breaker fishing!
Oh wow, I miss your catch report. The catch is awesome and the video is well made, I enjoyed it. Phase 2 starts today, anglers will be landing biggies for the next few days. :D I actually rushed down to fish the moment the clock struck 12 on the 19th :sweatdrop: it was raining and quiet though and ...

Pre circuit breaker fishing!
Here’s some of my catch just prior to the circuit breaker! The fishing was getting good when all of a sudden fishing wasn’t allowed anymore :( Here’s my best catch, on a big live arrowhead squid! 3kg angcho that put up a great fight. https://i.imgur.com/yK3GQux.jpg Giant Trevally. I think there was ...

Re: Bedok jetty CR
I think it might be a razor belly scar. Shape and fins match up.

Finally broke a curse
Previous decent fish I ever caught was a queen fish on an offshore trip... decided to dabao it despite my dad joking that it would curse me :sweatdrop: Little did I know that the queenie would be my last fish in more than half a year    Headed down to the usual spot with ilurbtambans ...
Re: Crabs!
They were caught from the rectangle crab nets! I heard there’s a method of eating the flower crabs raw by soaking in vinegar or something like that... intending on giving it a try one of these days.
Crabs!
Haven’t been fishing in quite awhile, been a little busy. But due to some circumstances, I’ve been able to do quite a bit of crabbing in a little hole I found! Here’s some pictures from the catch last night. First haul http://i.imgur.com/jIl4bAk.jpg Cooked immediately! http://i.imgur.com/9Ghsg8z.jpg...

Christmas CR
Headed to the usual last night armed with 20 tambans. Arrived around 12 midnight. Place was very crowded and I was chased away from my usual casting spot :( no choice but to go further down and cast. Was later alerted by another guy that my rod was ringing. Went to check, line went slack. Tightened,...

So I’m fishing at my usual spot now, and whenever I retrieve my tamban I see it glowing blue. Any idea what is attaching it

Re: Tips for Cobia
So a days trip led to nothing but a big haul of tambans and another giant puffer
Another question though, how Long can tambans stay good in the freezer? I wrapped them in newspaper, hope to use them in the next few bookouts

Re: Tips for Cobia
Hmm but have they been landed at other spots? (eg. Labrador park)
