Re: Baitcasting Reel
Hello everyone. Thought this might be a good chance for me to poke my nose into this thread ( too friendly forumers here I'm always late in discussions ) and also I've recently got myself started with BC reel, to be specific, low profile baitcasters. To start with the reason I bought myself a BC ree...

Re: sg. seletar
Hi mr.lure, that place is commonly known as NSLK. And yes the tomans there are wow like watermelons. However due to the over fishing / luring the tomans there dont attack lures easily at all. I got my first toman there too, 3 months of waking up to take first bus from Tampines, reaching there when I...

Re: Freshwater fish of singapore

If you are talking bout bait, goldfish or bread will bring you results. I personally dun care if a person bait or lure but cnr is really important in a coun...

You can try Alive Doggy Style too, 115 mm 19 gm. Should cost around 10 bucks at fishing buddy. They have very loud rattling when worked.
Yozuri surface cruisers are just as effective though it may not sound as loud as alive's doggy style in my opinion. For a 28 gm it should cost around 18-20 bucks.

Re: rod modification
Hello. someone correct me if I'm wrong. Firstly even or a spinning model u cant just add guides like that. When u add guides the distance between each guide is altered thus most of the time ppl tend to either change a particular guide that's broken or to change the whole set of stock guides. For bai...

Re: What kind of lure to use in Bedok Jetty
This is interesting calling those lures. It's ya as mention sabiki jigs more commonly known as tamban hooks. Limfish is right in a way that you should get those sold by the uncle at bjt. Or u can go those at shops. The thing is to go for those which are hair like, looks like fur instead of those whi...

Re: popper,lures and jig
Sorry peace but I think eupro salty chief can be quite an overkill and will serve better fishing in fw3 / bottle tree park. I would suggest eupro twincraft for a start. Im just not too sure bout the price though. Crony aGress series is $96 at fishingbuddy it's good too. Normally ppl buy lure rods 4-...

Re: popper,lures and jig
Take note of the weight first before u decide on the size. On lure rods are stated the suggested weight the rod can take. Most rods can take from generally 7-20g. Too light you won't feel the weight of the lure when casting, too heavy it will be harsh on ur rod. Different. Lures have different lengt...

Re: popper,lures and jig
Sorry geraud, for that I can't help u much for the fear of misleading you. But generally minnows are longer somewhat similar to wad DBS shown for the pictures 'lures'. Crankbaits and deep diver and many other types of lures I suggest you wait for peace or DBS to further explain

Re: popper,lures and jig
There's no proper method except proper attitude and mindset. Yes basically you cast and reel in. But how you reel in is very important. You may wanna act twitches when reeling in to attract more attention. Some fishes chase fast fishes, some chase slow swimming ones. Its also important to understand...

Yes I do agree on the huge variety they carry. But still thank you peace, I brought the same question in WTF hoping for some answer. If it's negative it's still not bad to use startackle as a price guide

Startackle.com anyone?
Hi, just to ask if anyone has bought items from this site before? Wonder is it safe to purchase from there? Because I've yet to see any mentions of this online tackle site until a few hours ago.
