Re: Punggol Park Connector

Wow nice catch. Ya the connector like no longer connected to the sea, used to hear from uncles who fished there say got alot 8-12kg kims. Guess some of them still surviving because they can adapt to fresh water. And you might want to hide your face from the pic, I also not sure whether NEA can catch...

Next time just leash the dog and throw it into the sea. You don't need any bait. New way of fishing.

Re: sltwater luring

i've tried at Lor Halus, not bad. But then i had only got a few bites by small fishes and a palm size grouper. But people told me they got barramundi there with lures, so i think its a matter of luck.

Re: is a leader compulsory for doing the "walk the dog" acti

i usually attach my lure directly to my main line (braided) too. The action of the lure seems pretty good. however, people use leader must have their reasons, so it wont be a must for you to follow but perhaps it really helps in getting more hits?

Re: Hello ... Punggol Promenade

Hey dbs, nice photos. But beware when you let your dogs wander around as there are anglers who are inconsiderate enough to leave hooks on the grass. I stepped into hooks in East Coast Park but luckily I was wearing slippers. I rather they throw them into the sea as there might be kids around these a...

Anyway, its nice to fish there especially at night, cooling and free parking after 930pm. Saw people with catches like chermin and wolf-herring. alot groupers too, but bew...
