Well all i can say if u really know where i was luring at or if u do fish or lure there. Just keep it clean and litter free. I had a hard time clearing the litter today. irresponsible anglers.

Re: Hunting for tomans, but...

Interesting catch report, that's some neat photoshop work concealing yourself. A pity the toman got away, but such is fishing. You win some, you lose some. ;) Great catch on the peacock bass. i have to conceal. Preservation of species. and sometimes joggers/anglers just litter anywhere ...

Re: Probing a Peacock Bass

Hmm, that might have been possible. Jerkbaits I've tried works significantly better than other types of lures I've tried on Peacock bass but as you've said surface hits give you more thrill. I usually go for topwater lures first before resorting to use a jerkbait, it's almost like cheating. :...

Hi jenggo, welcome to HLF. I too like explore the forest to indulge myself in the interesting wildlife within, fishes are no exception. :D It's always exciting to see Peacock Bass fighting over a lure, they get really aggressive and competitive. Re: Probing a Peacock Bass

Nice work!

Im guessing the 2 are protecting their nest?

You've probably agitated them  but seriously, i do think that jerkbaits entice fishes better.

but its those explosive surface takes from surface lures that sets you off and makes ur head go BOOM. right? :D
