Well all i can say if u really know where i was luring at or if u do fish or lure there. Just keep it clean and litter free. I had a hard time clearing the litter today. irresponsible anglers.QTfisher wrote:nice photoshop! but i recognise the stone! muahaha.

Interesting catch report, that's some neat photoshop work concealing yourself. :lol: A pity the toman got away, but such is fishing. You win some, you lose some. ;) Great catch on the peacock bass. i have to conceal. Preservation of species. :lol: and sometimes joggers/anglers just litter anywhere ...

Hey all, im back for more CRs from the fresh side. Was suppose to wake up before first light but end up slept till 9am. So finding kaki and got one interested. So off we went. Our target of the day was the elusive toman. We were casting for 15 mins, then i felt a tug. i struck and tried to set hook....

Hmm, that might have been possible. :nod: Jerkbaits I've tried works significantly better than other types of lures I've tried on Peacock bass but as you've said surface hits give you more thrill. I usually go for topwater lures first before resorting to use a jerkbait, it's almost like cheating. :...

Hi jenggo, welcome to HLF. I too like explore the forest to indulge myself in the interesting wildlife within, fishes are no exception. :D It's always exciting to see Peacock Bass fighting over a lure, they get really aggressive and competitive. Im guessing the 2 are protecting their nest?
You've probably agitated them but seriously, i do think that jerkbaits entice fishes better.
but its those explosive surface takes from surface lures that sets you off and makes ur head go BOOM. right?
