Re: Please ID this eel
Does the Estuarine Moray also change color? The regular ones i get are normally gray. Also, is it edible? I've gotten mixed answers. People who say that it is advertise it as tonic

Re: Please ID this eel
That's right, Its yellow and seems more firm. People told me its a moray eel but they're normally grey. This eel actually dug into the sand and entirely submerged under it when i put it in the water. I thought of using it as bait for surfcasting but i was advised otherwise. Here is the full body sho...

Re: Recent catches
Hi Peace, good to know that you're always around to help with my questions! I have been fishing diligently at ECP recently and my bait keeps getting stolen by small snappers around 50-300g (Russel, Indian, Brownstripe and blackspot), which I keep releasing because they're not eating size. I think I ...

Its been forever since I posted anything here. After NParks demanded an ang pao for fishing at my not so secret, secret spot. I was forced to find a new one :( These few months has been buying live prawn, fishing in the sun, rain or dark with nothing to show for my effort. These fishes were caught t...

Re: Crabbing problem
Don't bother with punggol jetty because it over-crabbed, probably by me :p but honestly the rate there is quite terrible especially for mud crabs. That's not to say that punggol doesn't have its secrets. Punggol is sandy, for a place like that you want to look out for rocky areas with a lot of hidin...

Pulau Hantu Questions
Hi all, a few of my friends are planning a camping trip to pulau hantu. Can anyone give me some tips on fishing there? Like spots, baits, best tide, float or sink, etc..
I'm using a shimano lurematic (rod) and shimano fx 2500fb (reel).
Also considering Crabbing and Cast netting, should I?
