its my favourite color
depth of water was relatively shallow for a 30g to sink. so i try to maintain from bottom, random about 4 - 8 jigs, letting it sink to the bottom again

Canals like the one at east coast where its close to the sea. Im hoping to get a variety of fishes since im new to fishing. So far i have caught are mostly catfish so im thinking you would be luring in brackish to saltwater? you would have to maintain your lures properly to prevent them from rustin...

i started my drum reel fishing with the exact model.

easy to maintain with a few screws. contact surface grease, gears grease, bearing oil. its a work horse. good reel. :nod:

what the fish thinks, i do not know. what i enjoy most of lure fishing, day, day break, cooling breeze calm water, no other souls. what the fish thinks, i can't figure it out or never will. :( i am not targeting KBL only. i am targeting the size that owns a one way ticket. he can break/ bend my rod ...

but i don't think our land is big enough to cater such animal. it is too dangerous with them lurking around. that size look capable of capsizing a sampan effortlessly.

i have caught mine during high, low, fast, or neap tide. most time, about structures, weeds, debris. slow cranking, dead slow with pauses. most importantly a lot of patience.

i myself, landed swa jiam/ sand whiting (pasir pasir), witnessed barracuda, chermin, sting-ray, ang zho(snapper), occasionally hearing stories of kim bak lor (barramudi) landed under the bridge.
