Thanks Peace
Was very lucky to be able to land it
as I later found out that my 10lbs leader almost gave way
due to the fish diving for the rocky holes

A wonderful gift :gift: for this lunar new year 2013 - A Haruan on spin fly  Yes, I found it unbelievable myself when I reeled it in too. This fish weighs over a kg and put up a good fight on my UL setup (2-5lbs telescopic rod & 4lbs braided on a size 500 reel). Now I can add another FW species...

Re: Punggol Park Connector
Nice catch there. If I am not wrong, the longkang there is now leading to a reservoir (Serangoon Reservoir) and not out to the sea anymore. So suprising to see that KBL still surviving there, I was trying to hunt for a peacock bass there instead haha..

Re: Spin Fly for Tilapia
hmm but still using UL setup? and how do you tie the hook onto your main line? was thinking of aiming PBs and maybe also test at paypond :eyebrow: Shouldn't be a problem, i am using an UL setup for my spin fly sessions with flies ranging from hook size 6 to 1/0. Never tried paypond though, you may ...
