Wow,a salt water crocodile.Its been a while since i seen them.you are so lucky to spot them.They are so elusive,Many years ago while crabbing i saw one but only a meter long.This is a giant.Any way,thanks,it will make me think twice if i want to go into that water :sweatdrop:

Stop crabbing for a long long time,however,when i go crabbing,i go with FBO (Full battle order) thats's to say min of 20 crab nets.why so many you may ask? Basically,on average when u pull up the net to check for crabs and toss it back properly takes about 1 min.By the time i reach net 20,its alread...

My 2 cents opinion on braided or fireline,Its up to personal preference.I feel braided lines gives more resistance when casting and reeling whereas the other feels smoother.When cutting of line,it it easier to use a knife to cut instead of pliers for braided ones.I am only familar to berkely brands....

Some hooks are not meant for big fishes.My advise is look for quality ones.If you find the shank too flimsy,its not suitable.Note that quality does'nt mean it can withstand high stress (just like line lbs).Always buy the best quality hooks that you can afford to,it may be a little pricey but well wo...
