ok..can we use bait also incase they don't take the lures?as it is a canal.. erm anyone tell me where is the spot?is it near yishun park and near yishun central 324? please tell me thanks they should take lures readily.... if they dont, pls try to avoid using baits as they might get used to it.... ...

thanks vidic for your reply hmm looks like FW3 cheaper lehs :x does FW3 provide baits or you have to purchase the in house baits like fishing paradise?

Nice walking catfish, I've haven't caught that in a while. It helps to have a longnose pliers with you especially when you're expecting a catfish. You can remove the hook safely and release them as quickly as possible. Nice catch, I'm still not too sure of that cichlid that looked like the Mayan th...

Patrick, I would like to try fishing Toman with a float.Please tell me how long is your leader under the float. How long did you wait prior to striking the rod and what hook size were you using? Because it's not easy to determine when the fish will exactly swallow the catfish, it's not always possible to get a hook set. What about using circle hooks, did you try experimenting with it? biggest in sg should be at most 1kg? about a foot long
