Re: Tamban's sotong adventures from down under

After spooling up my reel with new line, packing my gear, tieing my pulley rig, it was already 2am  Managed to get some shut eye and before you knew it, it was already 3.45am and it's time to head out to catch that golden hour which is 2 hours before sunrise, the sunrise in Adelaide is curr...

Re: Queen fish

Welcome to HLF Manfred! From what i know Queenfish is a pelagic fish and can be found midwater! Bedok jetty would be one of my first few places to target them as the waters are pretty deep and there are schools of tambans that frequent the jetty which you can use as live bait. Re: Tamban's sotong adventures from down under

i'm not too sure how much time is saved by using the knotter as i can't seem to tie a proper fg knot without it slipping  But i do know that it works as i have not had a knot that failed me so far. Re: Tamban's sotong adventures from down under

With a trip coming up in 5 hours, i finally decided to strip whatever remaining line i had on my emeraldas and spool it up with some fresh new line! With every cast there is barely any line left in the reel, and all it takes is for me to hit a snag and my casting distance will be compromised signifi...

Re: Tamban's sotong adventures from down under

Definitely! Now all i need to do is to find a sunset where there isn't too many clouds so that the whole sky would have those amazing colors! If in doubt, always fish 1-2hours before sunrise/sunset! Make sure you keep working the jig and not parking your rod at the railing. taking the picture was ea...

The reservoir there used to hold lots of decent sized flower crabs many years back , but they are gone now. You could try Changi boardwalk, sembawang jetty for crabbing, it's gonna be tiring for you lol, especially with all that gear you're carrying xD
