Ocea Jigger
Hi, I'm considering to go into overhead reel for offshore. I've my eyes on Ocea Jigger 2017 1501hg. As i've never use any overhead or BC before, I've some questions: 1. Comparing the spec of OJ 1000 and 1500, the weight and the drag are the same. Reason for choosing 1500 so that i have option to pla...

Re: Non Tenya Rod for Tenya
Thanks Peace. 1) When you said use butt power to strike the fish, can you elaborate on this? could be hard to explain in words i guess. 2) Since tenya is to drop to the bottom, lift rod tip up and down, to let the tenya fall in silly manner back to the bottom. Was worrying that the lifting of the ro...

Non Tenya Rod for Tenya
I have a rod Majorcraft Skyroad 662 ml/s (6'6", Lure=6-28g, line=8-16lb, 2 pc mid joint). I have a day trip to do some tenya, not whole day though. I've no intention to invest on a tenya rod just for this short session. Was wondering if this rod is suitable for 60g & 100g tenya. By looking at the sp...

How's the CR on Spanish Dancer? I was with them couple of months back. Big and spacious boat, but they usually hold many anglers... Current was super strong, i only manage to get a palm size grouper that i released. One malay guy onboard caught a approx 20kg grouper thou... in total, whole boat caug...

Re: Eupro cyclone
I'll feel that it's very unlikely eupro will have an imitation. Higher price could be inclusive of shipment? Different model? Or seller just trying his luck.. I find most Eupro are strong and tough rod. In exchange, it lacks of sensitivity and not so good guides. Then again, can't demand much for th...

Re: Twincraft
I have both Twincraft and Salty Fighter. Depends on your application.
Personally, i prefer SF. Slightly lighter and not so stiff. I can't rem my spec on the Twincraft though.
I got my SF in JB. sibeh cheap.

Good to know there's still good CR at Lab Park. You seem to be there throughout the night? How was your session?Commando_YR_Chin wrote:hi just went yesterday night, someone caught 2 large barracudas, and 1 other guy at 7am catch 1 2kg orange spotted grouper... forgot to bring a camera for photos...
