i think maybe cos u bought frozen prawns? so i think it doesn't "seem" "smell" so appealing to the fishes. i think using live bait should be better, if not, those dead prawns from bait shops. the smell should be stronger to attract the hungry fishes. as for grouper, i myself would like to catch one ...

I guess the brand shimano is the important factor there. Lol. Saw a set of 7ft and 8ft telescopic rods going for S$40+ total only. Was contemplating whether to buy anot. Shimano axis???
