Re: Tackle
Glad that u got it right, :p its a pretty reliable knot, best if you tie it before you go fishing. You could exclude swivel in this case if u decided to use one rig throughout the whole trip. This knot is also commonly used for jigging/luring. Err.. you should love the video, it teaches you well, no...

As requested,
To join main line(braided) to leader(mono)
Double uni knot
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WigqdKpE7M
Fg Knot
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueatfyziKRE
The uni knot will be much easier and faster but not so reliable then fg.

Re: RIgs for Todak
I have not seen ppl use so many hooks to target todaks. 3-4 hooks are mostly used to target halfbeaks i guess? u can actually use them as bait, there are actually some fishes who takes them.

Re: RIgs for Todak
Hi Shrimp, from what i know, most ppl would use floater with size 8 hooks, rod would be noodle rods for todaks. They would let the floater drift along the current with live/dead tamban or prawn meat till around 90m or more with their bail arm opened. Not easy ya ?
Re: Sedilli~
Nice catch there MrTurtle, seems like u are a grouper killer.
Dont worry, theres always next time, then you'll be more well prepared and haul up more fishes
Care to share how was the fight for the tenggiri ?

Re: Screaming Low Profile Reel.
Regardless, all baitcasters have audible sound when line runs out under considerable speed and drag pressure. Just not very loud. For Eg, U can look at the youtube video posted by patrick2405's from duration (0.58-1.01). U could hear a little screaming sound, are you referring to that sound ? or do...

Re: Tackle
I'm also not a branded killer, neither do i have any stella or saltiga :p I only go for branded for heavy fishing, the low-end brands really tires me out or spoils easily. Canyon reel looks good, seems comparable to Avet reels, u need to try them to see if the reeling is as rough though. I specifica...
