bright and big fish giv the PB a better view of ur bit. so a goldfish that i around 4-6 cm is a good bait :nod:

I've not fish that many peacock basses and the pavon to draw a conclusion but they seem to fight pretty much the same to me so far. But since you can typically find larger Pavon than a Peacock Bass, I guess that does make them perceived to be better fighters. errr maybe my line is too strong or som...

This fish is call jia lie in chinese there is some at Macritchie they normally eat bread. it fighting power is quite powerful. I caught 1 2kg 1 before and a rare pink colour

this type of fish best not to use float and colour line cux they have very sharp eyes. can use small hook as their mouth is not that big.the best is to use bread as bait but don't press the bread too on the hook .the fish don't dive deep for bait, they normally eat floating bread.
