i've went there once. but it didnt seem like a good place leh. only saw fries swimming near the opening of the canal

Which canal are you fishing at? I used to fish at the canal near rsyc and it's also my favourite swa jiam spot, or at least it used to be. The size has gone down since. You can also often see people laying net across the canal mouth.

You got to think positive, you know where there are small fishes there will be bigger fishes aftering them. :P

oh. the canal tat leads to sheng shiong. i saw a huge sea bass swimming in last time

The canal at the other end has more potential but is often blocked by many barges parking there.

You can get swa jiams over the other side too, golden snappers, grunters, caoxi and chermins. You may need to cast out quite a distance but like I said, it's usually blocked by barges.

'Many' is too much to ask for. :lol: Try Labrador park but know that you are fishing in very rocky terrain and you can get sangkut pretty easily. You can also try St John's or Kusu Island.
