hey bros! i'd like to ask something, does singapore have any kelongs for fishing? and if they do, is passport required? :p

There may be one or two Kelongs still operating in Singapore but I don't think they do any recreational business. Those offering fishing are usually the floating fish farms, but even those don't have the license for recreational activities except for a handful which managed to get a probational permit from AVA.

Fishing on local floating farms is considered a hush-hush in the fishing community that are often not discussed openly. Authorities are always spot checking on farms doing such operation illegally.
