Pasir Ris Pond

Hey! me and some friends are planning to fish at pasir ris pond. so, any tips on what kind of rig to use or baits?

IF is the salt water pond,dead prawns will do.
actually they provide u bait there.

hi hehefishing, there are quite a number of ponds in pasir ris. may i understand which one are you going specifically? else i believe non would be able to provide informations.
i know there are at least 3.
there are 2 opposite pasir ris MRT
1 in farmway Ed's pro pond.

i strongly disagree that these ponds would provide baits. pay pond fishing, is a trade. it won't be as profitable if this trade starts providing baits.

unless you are limfish are talking about fishing ponds which don't charge?

the one opposite pasir ris mrt is a salt water pond. i highly doubt that all pay pond offers bait. anyway, the pond opposite the mrt live prawns works.
rubber lures work seen people landing mostly kims day
spoon works too. day.

night fishing, kembong flesh works too. i had seen some anglers cutting them to little bits and pieces and scatter around 'his' zone. i believe it increases biting rate.
i personally prefer spinning live prawn, or dead fresh tamban @ night. ever landed ang zho, mangrove jacks, taiwan gor and kims.

Noted sgpu! yes, i saw some uncles use some fish meat as bait. so that's a kembong meat huh. alright! what about rigs? does apollo rig works?

yes it worked for me . . . i first started with apollo rig =D but single hook
i'd used tamban head, live prawns rig tied low, near to the sinker

R u refering 2 the main pond,if so,is fishing paradise more productive than the main pond?

i am not sure about the pond's title. i prefer the bigger pond, difficulty is there not saying the pro pond is easy but thinking that the bigger pond area is bigger, more area for 'fight' =)

sorry for late reply got stuck on hari raya festival... From my expriences @ main pond @ pasir u can juz use live prawn there...
i once caught fish there a size of half arm length will try to find the pic in the next few days to post it...

the smaller pond is the pro pond, if i'm not wrong the rates are $50/3hours
