Bedok Jetty - Mackerel
This morning i was at bedok jetty jigging for tamban, but due to the change of wing direction etc..bla bla as told by the oldman there the tamban is getting less. But that's lot's of yellowtail and mackerel(BaTang). I manage to hook 2 30cm long mackerel up using sabiki. So guy's you may want to head down there for some jigging

Cool, thanks for the tip. There's possibly bigger mackerels coming in to feed on the tambans too.

You could try cable car rig for big mackarel and sabiki for small ones.

Mackerels aren't too picky, or at least the small to medium sized ones aren't. I've seen people and also have personally caught them (about 1-1.5ft) on dead prawns.

I was there for tamban...when i saw some water poping..i cast my Sabiki over the spot...and manage to hook 2 up! Luckily it hook of the side of the mouth!

Re: Bedok Jetty - Mackerel
I came across this video on youtube, it shows a school of queenfish feeding close to the jetty in a frenzy. They're not mackerels but still, it would be pretty exciting to get some hookups from that.
Re: Bedok Jetty - Mackerel
The fishes are there ! You can see but you can't catch ! The fishes are mocking u.... Haha that's the worst part of fishing. But in the end, it depends on you yourself how u enjoy fishing.
I would probably throw a jig or popper down to try, make as much noise as possible !
