Eh ... did the brown stingray give birth when landed ?
Look like it's pregnant.
The back part nearer to the tail is bloated.

That's nice of releasing the small ones.
But these rays don't grow very big.
Am I right not ?
Those uncles/ah laus always say these brown little fella won't grow till very big de.

I ever caught a brown ray slightly bigger than our palm
and it gave birth to 2 small rays.
Size of a fifty cent coin.

All released safely back.

I can see rookie's been around to many parts of Singapore to fish. I kind of miss Tanjong Rhu, I didn't really had thoroughly tried out the place. You've caught quite a variety of fishes too, thanks for sharing with us your past catches.

the place where car and even 4wd vehicle get stuck

i went at the dunno what lousy tide, but within 30mins of luring, i caught this 2 fish on jig

caught this good size black barb hb at lab park


look at this 2 hb
the smaller hb is around our water all year round
the bigger with black stripe, is seasonal and is bigger



one of the best eating fish around, without parasite in the hb
deep fried is the best, with nice cold beer (but i dun drink beer lah)
good nice finger food
