Juz some shots taken in Mandai Zoo during CNY ..

King Cobra. Largest Venomous snake on Earth!

Komodo Dragon. The Saliva kills!

Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake.Huge Fanged pit viper!

Very nice shots

, I remember shooting that cobra last year when I visited the Zoological Garden, all I got are many blurred pictures

. Then I waited till the snake got tired and slept beside the glass.

Allow me to chip in some of my wild encounters. The last pic was taken few days ago on one of my fishing trips. The snake was black in colour so I suspect it could b a cobra. My flash could have frightened it ...saw it swam into the deeper waters

Here are some of my snake encounters

A snake I spooked while it was sunbathing on a gravel track.

Saw this one at Upper Seletar Reservoir

A green snake, I think it's the same as domvonn's

Lastly, a colourful sea snake, too bad I didn't have time for a steady shot

first snake, i dunno the id heheh

sec snake:an elegant bronzeback.non venomous
third snake : oriental whip snake. mildly venomous
last snake : Sea krait! highly venomous , but its a docile and gentle snake.

Thanks for the ID domvonn, the sea snake is quite shy, it noticed me and quickly dive back down.

For more reptilian stuff, here's a clip I took of a monitor catching a swamp eel!
