I see another flower crab on the corner of the first pic!

That place must be full of flower crabs. It looks like a potential fishing spot too. The two fish you took are tilapias, the place is probably near a river mouth or a source of freshwater too.

Kranji reservoir is riddled with the green algae, especially on Side A where the jetty is. It is much better on Side B where the flood gate is, and also where most baiters like to fish at.
