Nice shot on the waterhen, though it's a little underexposed. It almost looks like it's on a beach or something... Wild waterhens are often shy and are hard to capture. I got this one from the Botanical Gardens, they're quite adjusted to human presence and are easy to shoot.
They can walk on lotus leaves because they are light and have wide feet, pretty cool ya.
Thanks. The lotus protruding out sure is distracting, but I'm actually quite happy that I was able to capture some clear shots of the waterhens, they're quite active and moving about.
