I've monitoring a particular pitcher plant for sometime and it finally decides to flower. Well, it's nothing like a pretty rose that you might expect but is certainly a beauty in my eyes. Now I finally know it is a female plant. Here's the flower:
Here and some random stuff I shot in the area too:
A wasp collecting nectar
A young fighting spider
An orange colour damselfly
A cluster of fungus
This is an interesting insect, it seems like it has live ants stuck to its back for some reason.
The flower finally bloomed

I've scan almost every flower bud ...
Somehow ... I cannot seems to understand how you managed to know it's a female plant. lol !
Well ... every plant has its uniqueness.
It need not have to be colourful nor resembles a rose
Each has their special characteristics ...
I myself enjoy "playing" with them ... even if it's just grasses.
You never know what you see in them.
I miss those fun time searching for miss greeny.
It's being a long long time since I last got near anything that is green.
Hopefully .... I get to play in my little wonderland soon ....
