EDDY OTAH STICK

Otah ... that's the only thing this stall has for sale.
They do not sell nasi lemak or any other stuff ... only otah !
Be prepared to wait on weekend mornings ... snaky queue in front of the stall.

I love their tradition otah with fish meat and chilli ... selling at 30cents a stick ...
It's worth every penny you paid for.
Wrapped in coconut leaves, the spicy fish otah is an unique blend of coconut milk, spices and fish meat.
Cook over an electric heater, the aroma of the coconut leaves combined with the otah ingredients ... power is the word.
Eat it as it is or wrap it with a slice of white bread ... heavenly.

They have several variety for you to choose from, from spicy to non-spicy.
Normal one goes at 30cents a stick and 50cents per srick for prawns and sotong variety.
For me, I still prefer the good old traditional fish otah. :D

Here is another nice eating Otah, the Lee Wee Brothers ...

http://www.leeweebrothers.com/otah.html

This is one of the outlet selling their famous nasi lemak and otah.

Blk 209 Hougang St 21 #01-02
Hougang St 21 Market and Food Centre

I normally will buy an extra 2 sticks of the otah to go with the nasi lemak.
The last time I bought a packet of nasi lemak from them, it cost me $1.20.
Not sure how much it is now.
The chilli is sweet n spicy, also for sale at the stall in big and small tubs.

It's sure worth a try. ;)

Here's another one ... they have delivery services too.

Should you need some Otah Otah for BBQ session ... here's another choice for consideration.

Have not tried this one before so ... give us your review if you have tried it.
