We were at the Singapore Expo and were looking for a nice place to have a drink.
Macau Express caught our attention.
Another hippy cafe style eatery ... this time Macau.

The wall have elaborate murals to create the illusion of one being dinning in Macau.
I have not being to Macau personally but I felt as if I was there.
There were some display corners with gambling cards deco and old large Chinese calendar.
Rather unique and nice ambient.

We ordered the Yuan Yang Glass Jelly drink and ice cold rose tea.
Notice the unique glass the drink were served in ?
It looks like those empty jam bottle with an added ear for grip.

The "Yuan Yang" is basically a concoction of tea and coffee with added ingredients of glass jelly in it.
This was my first time having the drink.
Used to try out glass jelly with soya bean milk but never with coffee and tea.
Somehow ... I still prefer coffee, tea or glass jelly.
Don't mind having tea and coffee mix together but please don't add glass jelly !

The rose tea was light and cooling with a tinge of rose flavour as you sips in the tea.
Very nice drink.

Tried out their dessert, Mango with sago.
Not very nice ... mango was a bit too sour.
Made my eyes blink blink with every bite of it.

Not a bad place to have a cup of tea and take a rest after some shopping at the Expo.
But the food just don't appeals to me. ::x:
