CHOCO BANANA

Bangkok, city of the nice people loves Pocky too.
It's easily available in any 24 hours mart or petrol kiosk.

Bought this one on my first day in Bangkok, Choco Banana.
Thais love to eat banana, one of the common street food found almost everywhere.
Banana placed on small stove BBQed and sliced n packed into small bag sold at 20bahts.
Yummy is the word.

So is this Pocky, rich in banana flavoring.
Yellow banana creamy with choco pretz sticks.
If goes with normal pretz sticks should taste even better.

Didn't see this in our local market ... wish they import this one. :D

TOMATO PRETZ

Bought his one sometime ago ... dig it out from the my treasure box this afternoon.
Look see look see ... check check expiry date ... hmmm ... still can eat

It didn't look like it will be nice to me.
Never quiet like pretz stick with no cream ...

Some more ... tomato flavor ... really doubtful about this one.
Nothing better in my treasure box besides this one ... no choice open it.

A very refreshing green plastic packaging greeted my eyes ...
4 smaller packets inside the box ...
Open to some many pretz sticks ...
Look carefully ... they are lightly coated with salt and some spice
Didn't taste so much tomato to me ...
A very light tomato flavoring you almost miss it.

This Pocky is going into my must have list. :D

HAM CHEESE

Another Pocky from Thailand.

The color of the packaging attracted my attention to it.
The flavoring is surprisingly close to the real thing.

First bite and I almost thought I was eating a slice of ham.

Another one into my must have list.
Without cream de pretz sticks ... yummy ~

POCKY? A snack I stopped eating for more than 10 yrs.
Strongly influenced by you guys .... I found myself buying more and more pocky recently.
Very addictive!

Last week while shopping at Junction 8, this Purple Box caught my eyes.
Raisin? I knew its coming home with me!

Meiji Fran Patisserie Raisin

A chocolate biscuit stick coated with white cream and small bits of raisins.
The white cream is very sweet. The raisin bits are very tiny and crunchy.
4 smaller packets inside the box. 3 sticks in each packet. $3.80

Wah !!! raisins de .... woofie ebil !

Have to agreed we are spoiled for choices when come to Pocky of the new age ...
It is simply amazing how many different flavours there are out there ...locally and overseas ... Japan especially.
The pretz sticks alone has several falvours to choose from.

I simply love this one with rasins ... I will definitely go grab myself some !
Just wonder if it's the NTUC at Junction 8 or woofie .... pls pls give some exact direction to the store selling it.

I was there at Jnction 8 just the other day ...
I fell in love with the Yummi soft frozen Yogurt, located at the basement food corner.
Used to patronised them when I was working at Wisma Astria long long time ago ....
Spotted their little store at Junction 8 recently and I have been making regular trips there ...
Just to satisfy myself with a medium cup of the soft frozen yogurt top with raisins
and bring home another take home tub to keep in the fridge. :yay:

Pocky In A Bag ...

For those who want convenience snakes at home or in the office ... this one for you.
Comes in a big bag with 9 smaller packets in it ...
Very convenient for people like me who just need to find something to munch from time to time ...
Taste every bit like the classic chocolate version ...
there's a choice of chocolate or the good old strawberry one.

CHOCO BANANA with original pretzel stick !

Was at NTUC AMK hub just now and I die die have to go check out the Japanese corner ...

Grab three different kinds of Pocky which I have not seen nor eaten before.

Looks like the "Japanese" Pocky really spend quality time and effort in the packaging itself.
Unique and attractive and of course the cost of all that will have to come from us the consumers eventually.
Each costing few dollars more than the classical version of $1 each !

Will do a review on it when I eat them ... slowly ... ex ah ! :p
