Wah looks like you went all out just to find a nice place to dine with Scott, too bad he did not seem to appreciate it. That meatball sure looks delicious enough to me...

Yeap ... we went out in search for a place whereby human and dog can dine together.
Ever since we have adopted Scott ... we realised Singapore is not a very pet friendly country.
Many a times after a nice walk to the park of beaches ... we had no place to have a cup of tea with.
Most of the eateries, cafes, hawker centers and restaurant are ... "no DOG allowed" !

I guess this is partly due to our Malay community ... well no choice.
Got to learn to live with it ...
A small note here ... I read somewhere that a Muslim can touch a dog ... just not the wet area whereby the saliva comes into contact
and they will have to go through a cleaning process which I am not sure what and how.

After some search and asking around ... we manage to locate a few cafes/restaurants whereby we can take our furkids along.
Now we have some nice good places to relax over with our friends and our wagging tails by our side.

Here's another dog cafe we visited, Urban Pooch, the first dog/human cafe in Singapore.

It was a Saturday evening but we were the only ones there ...
O ! there were a few dooggy in the air-con play area ... looks like under boarding/day care service.

Despite having taken his meals ... Scott clean up his bowls this time.
We are happy about it of course as he is a real choosy eater.
However ... I find that the food served here look not so healthy compared to the one served at Bark Angel.

Well ... if Scott doesn't eat .. healthy also no use right ...

Location was good, parking not much of a problem .. but places was desserted.
A Saturday evening and we were the only dine in customers.
Ordered a coffee for Simon and I had a cappuccino and a platter of finger food.
We spend a total of $30.20 ..with Scott meal costing around $10.

Kinda steep on the pricing ... will go back again ... when we have no other places to go.
Dog has to be on leashed unless in the play area ;)

We actually paid K9 Kulture Cafe at Turf City a visit but was deeply disappointed with the service.
In fact ..there was no service at all ! 0.o

Arrived at place ... cozy enough for a nice meal or just to sip coffee with friends and our furkids around.
Walk right in ... look though the menu board ... not bad.
But ... I felt that we walked into the cafe like hollow man and walked out just like one too.
No one care to come forward despite we standing right in front of the bar counter for a good few mins.

There were three Filipinos looking lady seated right near the entrance, talking and enjoying their brunch.

My usual reaction when I face with such situation ... walked right out and adiós !

We went to Urban Pooch again.
The friendly staffs ... and the bunch of dogs in the play area.
There were another two ladies with a poodle there for lunch too.
They ordered chicken for their dog but it refused to eat. ::x:

This time ... we ordered lamb meat balls for Scott.
The smell of the food send him sitting up begging for it !
He gladly cleaned up his bowl ... we were all smiles.

Simon tried the fried chicken with butter rice and I had finger food.
I wouldn't say it's very tasty but was not too bad.
Most of their menus consist of easy to prepare n store food items.
Well .. how often do Singaporeans take their dogs to cafes ... it's not popular here.
And I guess it will never be ...

* the above meal for human n dog plus 3 coffee cost $35.20.

I have not a single doubt that Scott is a very happy dog.
His tail never stop wagging when he sees another dog or just about anyone.
Always the friendly little boy trying to be friend even to a cat !

Its X'mas day ... what best to celebrate it with my darlings, Scott, Tasha & Sara.
Allow them to feast till they drop for once, it's X'mas !
Three happy dogs cleaned up two meat loafs and a cheese cake.
Scott the happy go lucky fellow who really takes his own sweet time to finish up his food.
Poor Sara and Tasha had to be hold back just so Scott can eat his meal. hahaha ....

The SGWesties Club of Singapore had a X'mas party at K9 Kulture cafe,
and we are proud to be taking part in the club's activities for the first time.
Got to thank Suzanne, a member there for her link-ups.

The event was a fun filled one.
A chance for all westies owners to get together ...
and for the little fur kids to play and learn from their own kind.

Didn't know there will be mini competitions to be held ...
Was kinda surprise but we did enjoy ourselves.
It was very funny watching the Westies competing in the events.
A kibble was hidden under one of the three cups they suppose to topple the cup n eat the kibble.
As predicted ... Scott lost !

But ... he won the Best Tricks Competition.
It was a hat trick for Scott ! ::x:
All I did was to hold up a treat right above his head and asked ... "what must you say ?"
with some hesistant and looking around ...
He went up on 2 feet begging for it !

Here's some pictures to share ... :yay: :
