Scott @ Marina Barrage

Post by dBs™ »

The existing site of the Marina Barrage used to be a wonderful fishing ground which we frequent often.
We revisited the place with Scott in toll ...
We surveyed the place and found no "No Pets are Allowed onto the premises" sign anywhere in sight.
Happily we stroll Scott into the "park" not allowing him to mark at any place at all.

He had a enjoyable time roaming at the Marina Barrage.
I don't know if he is the first dog to be allowed there ...
We came across several security guards and non stop us so I guess ... dogs are allowed ? ::x:

Waited out for the lightning warning to go off and we went right up the spiral walkway up to the top ...
What surprises us more ...
We were greeted with breathtaking view of our city skyline ...
It a "park" within a park !
They actually had it done so people can enjoy kite flying up up in the sky !

We barely managed to complete the full spiral path which bring you a 360 degree round the park.
Scott refused to walk half way through. ::x:
Walked like an old man and kept looking at you right in the eyes as if saying ...
"PLEASE CARRY ME ... I M TIRED !"

Plenty of water features in the park ...
Plenty of student visiting it too ...
Plenty of subjects for photographers to shoot with their camera ~

* Psst ... uncle go try out your skills there ... but not many flowers or rather barely any flowers !

Alright ... here are the pics :pics:
A quick one around the place ... will go back for more when I have the time.
Better when the IR has completed !

O ... and Scott is very happy ... we took him as near to the Flyers as we can liao.
Last will be sneaking him right into one of the cabin ! ;)

Scott looks like the inspector of this barrage, auditing every corner with his nose. A beautiful place with a good view of the city and sea, I must pay this place a visit some time. Too bad there's no fishing there. :p
