Are there any fishes at Little Guilin?
The first time i went fishing there, i caught three 4 pounder peacock bass. It was about a year ago though. Now the only fish i caught is the common catfish. Where had all the bass went?

I've personally have not fished there before but it's a small place compared to our reservoirs where the bass have enough room to hide from predators (especially anglers) and breed. Being so close to residential area means it's easily accessible and overfished. And yes, the 'use only artificial bait' sign never works.

There are fishes there, but it's pretty hard honestly to get them to take your lures, the area is seriously over-fished and not to mention it's pretty small.
If you want to throw some lures in the area, you are better off at the canal near yew tee/cck or jurong lake.

Look after the oceans, for you merely borrowed it from the future generation.

That's pretty good considering how much the small little place has been overly fished. That peacock sure have some strong survival instinct to last that long, then again it might also have been recently release into the lake.Kamikaze wrote:Finally, i caught a peacock bass today at little guilin...
