I've never fished there before but according to dBs, the boardwalk is closed for renovation till next year. The entire boardwalk pretty long, it is possible that certain stretch of the boardwalk is still accessible but I can't be certain. You'll need feedback from other members who have been there recently.

In any case, you can try using sarong or wat-wat worms to target for grunters. Prawns is pretty much a universal bait so you can't go wrong with that too. It's Selar season as well so bring along some tamban jigs to try.

Good luck. :)

I'm sure you seen these before, all tackle shops carry them. Get those feathered ones.

The feathered one are said to be more effective, at least for tambans. For Selars, I guess it's fine either type. You don't have to put bait on it but it'll work better if you put small shrimps or prawn meat on it. If you use the baiting method, you won't need those feathers or jigging action.
