hey guys :) i was just wondering if the sea waters just behind pandan reservoir tidal gate is productive ? if so what fishes are there?

Yes, there's lots of mullets in that area and the place is a swamp-like habitat. But like any other reservoirs, they will open the floodgate whenever there's heavy rain, muddy water will be gushing down the river. The area is pretty big, it's also where the old RSYC used to be. There's a few sunken boats there but probably broken down to bits and pieces by now, used to be a great spot for snappers and groupers. I reckon the place is still good to try out for kbls and cudas.

oh mullets . erm what hook size should i use ? care to post a picture of the size hook ? what bait

I don't have a picture of the hook but those tamban hooks (size 3) will do.

the bait u can use prawn.. know where have the most mullets ? punggol right? but now i not sure le.. haha

Bread should be the preferred bait for mullets, but be sure to berly the bread till they get into the mood of feeding. I got a clip I took several years ago just outside Pandan Floodgate, not sure how the place has become now. I know there used to be schools of mullets there. ;)

erm no brra no cudas been there for 2 weeks and NOTHING!!! only got a few tilapias carp halfbeaks and lots of mullets that leap out of the water for no reason and seem very hard to catch..
