wow thanks but in the forum they also indicated the price compared in singapore is not much.. hmmm can advise me in whether SURE CATCH<singapore> compared wif TOMMAN and AJIKING<malaysia> which one is better in terms in price n quality??Hehe i'm still quite new to fishing

Surecatch quality is not very gd,cos i hav a surecatch reel and it gt spoilt just after using it a few times,so i would recommend Tomman or Ajiking.... :D

Hmmm.. i'm thinking of getting a new reel size of 2000 - 3000 any good brand n model to recommend? budget SGD$50 and also good mono line to acc wif..

As much as I would like to support a local brand but I don't have confidence in sure catch reel seeing the quality of their build. They're pretty affordable but they just don't just, that kind of makes it expensive instead. ::x: I would suggest going for Shimano sienna or Daiwa Crossfire budget reels. :)

i planning to top up and maybe getting Daiwa-Regal® 5iA 2500 :nod: but before i do so can recommend similar price but better / comparable specs?? :thumbsup:

surectach has made good reels but you guys buy the 10-20$ crap......
there are surecatch reel $24 and got 6 BALL BEARING ALLL ANTI CORROSION!!!!
but i still prefer diawa...

Hmm, on second look that reel may be out of your budget. I believe we are looking a 200 dollars price range. ::x: I think the Regal will do you just fine. :)

cos price of Crossfire®-3iB is somehow cheaper<=/-S$20> then Regal®-5iA

Specs on both is almost the same, except Regal has more bearings so it's probably a little more smoother. Regal comes with a spare ABS aluminium spool while Crossfire comes with a graphite spool only.

more or less i may decide with Daiwa Regal but will keep in view shimano Aernos XT cos both price are quite similar...
