anyone can recommend me a freshwater spinning reel tat cost between $35 to $50???prefer to be frm SHIMANO or DAIWA....THKS

The light tackle Shimano reels should be ok. For the price range you can try the sienna, elf/nasci or the AX. I would suggest you head down to Riverland at Changi to take a look cos they had the full range of light tackle reels on display and try out

For that budget range, it's hard to get elf/nasci or even sienna. It's more in the range from alivio/catana/slade for shimano and sweepfire/crossfire for daiwa. Oinkie's right about going down to physically try out the reel and get the feel of the weight and smoothness of each reel.
