well...i bought the last 6000 tokushima baitcaster at $75-$80=P
But at joe they still have lots of low profile=)
They are good for luring and shallow fishing.
But first u must know how to use one or else, u will regret it.
Urrrgh, no time to fish now~

Do you already have a rod that you're going to pair it with? If so, do state the brand and model. :)

So are you going to pair the rod with this pioneer rod or getting a new one? If you want to pair it with this pioneer rod, it would be helpful if you can state the specs of the rod, ie. length, line strength, etc. I can't find the specifications online.

Yes that does help. Firstly, this rod is suitable for kelong fishing as well as light boat fishing although the length is a little too long to use comfortably from a boat. There was a thread on this startackle site someone posted today and they have abu baitcaster on promotion. The Pro Max is offering at $86 dollars, it's a nice decent reel with 6kg drag that'll match up with that rod.

Sorry, I do not have any contacts. About your rod, are you sure it is a baitcast model because you shouldn't use a baitcast reel on a spinning rod.
