Yes, it does takes patience and lots of tries. Don't stick to one way if it doesn't work, try different strokes or cast at a different spot.

For luring peacock bass, it needs to slowly reel in and cast back to the waters again right ?Peace wrote:Yes, it does takes patience and lots of tries. Don't stick to one way if it doesn't work, try different strokes or cast at a different spot.

2.5g L minnow is very light weight. I've not used these light weight lures before. The minimum weight I use is 5g daisio lure or the 8g minnow lures.
Lures that are suitable for pbs are from 6g - 10g. Big pbs will take bigger lures .
It also depends on the rod, reel and line.
For this 2.5g lure, if you can cast it out, it is ok. This lure can be used for smaller cichlids, and it can be casted to the left or right of the water edge, and work the lure back.

I went to Fishing Buddy at Jurong and the shop owner said that this lure is suitable for PBs at Jurong Lake ..BeachBum wrote:2.5g L minnow is very light weight. I've not used these light weight lures before. The minimum weight I use is 5g daisio lure or the 8g minnow lures.

Yes, it will work. I was just saying I've no experience with the very light lures.
