Reel Repair

In conjunction of the topic my Daiwa Sweepfire 4000 anti reverse knob hv give way is it better to hv it repair or Juz replace it with a new reel...

Where can I go for cheap repair coz the shop at bukit Batok is charging me $25 juz for opening the reel not the spare part.... Warranty hv expired....

I believe other ships will easily charge you $10++ just to check the reel. If the reel has been used quite a bit, I would suggest getting a new one instead. Additional spare part costs may will make it not worthwhile.

The reel was use for abt a year or less that's the reason I wanna repair it.....

You have to decide whether it's worth giving a shot at repairing it. If you factor in the labour, spare parts, travelling costs against its 2nd hand value it shouldn't be hard to make the decision. Not to mention the time you have to spend sending in and collecting it back.
