Ryoga Bay Jigging 2020

Post by sgpu »

sigh . . .

i have sent my RBJ for servicing twice le, and the problem still persists. once by e-wave, and recently with changi pro. the latter i suppose have had my warranty voided.

i am deeply in love with its size, and claimed drag 10kg.

but . . .

the drag sucks big time! its either max drag or little drag . . .

any remedy for it?

Yeah, have you tried changing the drag washer? Or you can add a tiny bit of grease on the drag washers, it'll smoothen it but you lose some drag power too.

You could try changing to Carbontex drag washers. Beach Road, Saber has them and they could change for you if their technician is around.

You can bring down the reel to the tackleshop and have them change it for you, but make sure they have the washer for your model of reel before going down. Another concern would be the problem comes from somewhere other than the drag washers.
