Hey all,
Need some advice here, plan to get a set of Ultra Light wt jigging rod,

Reel: CI4 (2500 or 3000)

Rod: Zerek Light Jerker, Eupro Giant killer, Major Craft Crostage.

Any idea which set up is good?

I using 20g micro jig for local water.

Not too sure about the brands you mentioned.However,i use my okuma nemessis 2.It feels very light and works well with luring

All rods you mention can do the job. Depends on your budget. Of course u pay more u will have higher quality specs.

Yeah, all the rods are okay but I'd rather you go down the tackle shop and feel the rod yourself first. I personally would go for the lightest(in weight) possible setup, so I will pick a 2500 reel. Local waters won't require much line at all.

Storm micro jigger! i think that will fit what you are looking for, i believe sincere tackles carries them. I not ring them up!

Seriously is 10lbs line strong enough for Southern Water? I used to load 30lbs but lot's of people ask me load 10lbs....

10lbs is sufficient if you're just talking about raw strength and besides many braids are underrated. 10lbs will allow you to set 4kg drag and that's good enough. You need to pay attention on your knot connecting to the shock leader though, you can't afford to have badly tied knot on lighter lines.

The people who recommended you on the line are probably jigging enthusiasts and they favour the advantage of using minimum lure weight with lighter lines. It also allows you to load more lines on a smaller reel too. So in all, it's a good setup but it doesn't leave a lot of room for error or lack of tackle care.
