BC setup

Post by Burpp »

Saw a Abu Revo SX selling at $120 only, suddenly tempted to get a BC to play with in local reservoir. Anyone use the SX before?? Any BC rod intro? Which legal spot have more bite? Rubber or floater worka better?

The Revo family is pretty well built, so no worries unless it's a second hand one. You could go for an Abu rod too, perhaps Veritas or Vendetta. For spots, I recommend Lower Seletar Reservoir. Lures are more of a preference, use one which you're good at working with first. I personally like stickbaits, love the topwater action and hits. :D

Hmm, I haven't really take notice of them in tackleshops but I recall seeing them in Changi Pro, Joe's tackle and Sincere. Try calling them up ask to enquire. :)
