Does any one know how to use a saltwater rubber worm lure? I've been told to use it like a normal bait but can they be used for jigging?

I haven't really tried them much but I've seen those with wiggly tails work well with jigheads. Of course you will still need to work the rubber, you can't just leave them there stationary like live baits.

What if the rubber floats and has scent?

I doubt it will be very effective unless the fish is in a frenzy or hungry. Curious fish might nip at it, but probably won't be good enough for a for a hook set. If you already have the rubbers, just try them out and see how well they work.

i turned to rubber simply for it works. =)

1) there are plenty of options to choose the jig head so i can achieve various distance and the sinking speed etc
2) cheaper compared to hard body lures.
3) do not snag that easily
4) plenty of ways to work with.

the jig head affects the
1) sinking speed : light sink slowly, heavy sinks fast (more applicable to deep depths )
2) if its too light you wont be able to feel it. sufficient weight, it works effortlessly.

ways to work
1) you can crank it like how you work a swimming lure, whether its scented or not, the actions which causes the turbulence in the water works just as effective. real slow, it can just go along the bottom.
2) you can jig it the method i love most, its less tiring.
