Is this place a good spot for Kim's? Like the canal area across the bridge
I heard it is a gd spot for Kim's at night but is it gd in the day
If so, besides live prawns any recommended baits for Kim's and MJ
And thinking of luring with the zerek Barra X is it effective?
Thanks everyone

Re: changing point ferry jetty
There's definitely Kims there and I've personally seen people landing it there, although they're not very large. There's going to quite a bit of traffic during the day so I don't think it's easy to fish during those time. Given the plankton bloom in the nearby Ubin waters, I'd say fishes there are much affected.
In my opinion, spots and timing plays the major role in local fishing. Barra X probably works well, even the Zerek Live shrimps are also known to work effectively for Kims. Happy hunting.

Re: changing point ferry jetty
lure the whole day 9-4 from the ferry terminal to change carpark ... The one with the railings then all the way back to changi boardwalk, mode of transport walking around but no catch unfortunately, thing is a KBL was spotted
One thing I learnt about spotting KBL is that look at where the tide is flowing and if u see a black fin going against it that's a KBL haha
After that went bedok reservoir and missed a hit from a small peacock in front of me, very sien
Still enjoyable after all its fishing not catching

Re: changing point ferry jetty
if you ever see fishes swimming about, these fishes are most probably not in their hunting mode, in another word, they won't take bait. then again it's probably.
for yourself, don't go hunting with high expectations, the fishes don't feed all the time, so it's alright return home empty handed. along that kelong walk stretch is definitely promising. personally, i had witnessed kim landed with lures.
be patient =)
