hi guys like i mentioned in an earlier post ppl caught barracuda left and right of me with LSBF rigs at night at labrador park... what bait should i use? i heard of them using fish but not sure what fish... currently using dead prawns and sotong...
on a side note, as i mentioned in an earlier post, got any tips to catch KBL (seabass) at this location below? like what bait and techniques?

If you can catch live squids there, it would be the best bait to use. Otherwise, live or dead tambans are good baits to go with. I haven't seen many KBL landed from that jetty, but there are certainly big ones in that area. They lurk at at canal mouth of the power house beside the beach. Of course, it's illegal to fish there and inaccessible. You definitely try for them at the jetty, lsbf or apollo with live prawns or live tambans are excellent baits for them.

um peace, the live squids, prawns, tamban can be used to catch both kbl and barracuda? does it matter if it must only be live or not?

Live baits are always better, but you probably don't want to be using a same rig to target for both fishes. For a cuda, you want to be using wire trace as cudas have very sharp teeth. KBLs are more cautious fish so a wire trace would probably spook them away.

Ps. the guy who got 2 barracuda on LSBF didnt use wir leader, but dupont line 30/40 pound...

btw for bait fish, other than tamban can other kind work? like Selar, Mullet or Mackerel?
got any recommendations where to buy these kind or baitfish either dead or alive?
