Eupro cyclone

Post by Brian.ramis22 »

I'm newbie angler from the Philippines. :)
And I bought a eupro cyclone 9ft. 17-40 lbs Any reviews to this rod? Is it durable? I was planning to catch some threadfin salmon or any big fish that I'll bite. Hehe

Thanks in advance pro's. :)

Hi Brian, welcome to HLF. The Eupro Cyclone will make a fine shore/jetty rod, its rating can handle big fish. Eupro rod components are generally decent and will last so long you don't abuse them and wash after use.

Thanks for answering. :) and I only bought this for php. 1900 or 38 dollars. Is the price right or very cheap? Because I saw a post that they're selling eupro cyclone rod for 140 dollars plus. Did I bought an imitation?

I'll feel that it's very unlikely eupro will have an imitation. Higher price could be inclusive of shipment? Different model? Or seller just trying his luck..

I find most Eupro are strong and tough rod. In exchange, it lacks of sensitivity and not so good guides. Then again, can't demand much for that decent price.

Have fun with it!

Hi Bryan. I had a cyclone jigging rod. A little heavy on the weight but able to withstand abuse.
Good luck.
