Hi all ,

encouraged by a friend recent adventures into freshwater fishing , fisher also tried out some of the action for topwater lures
UNforunately , the fish that day prefer bottom lures
nevertheless , 3 fish landed
1 PB at 2.5kg
2nd fish at 500 and a third at 600grams

sorry no pict of 3rd fish as rushing home for dinner as about to rain and left in a rush
will be back for more action hopefully a monster toman next time spotted but not intersted in the lures :)

I find jerkbaits are a lot easier to entice the bass to bite than topwater lures. However, it doesn't have that thrill of seeing the bass breaking surface to strike your lure which can really get your mood going. :D

Heh, he does have some interesting videos in his channels. Jerkbaits are like your normal crankbaits except they give a frantic dashing action when you jerk it with your fishing rod.

hmm so it looks more like a diving fish that runs when the target fishes are near?

Not bad, at least there's still two consolation prize to go with. Hope you're better prepared with stronger trebles next time. :mischieve:
