Re: Haruan hunt!
Well done on landing that many fishes again, your lure deserves an early retirement though! Keep up with the good catches.

That tilapia is huge, great job landing one of such size. I see it's also been a good day for your pb hunting, keep up the good catches!

Lure: ima issen 45s and rapala finesse sinking minnow
Argh abit overdue this was the catches for last sunday at the usual spot~ but however that day that was a dragon boat competition being held.... every 10-15mins u can see the waves crashing onto the banks probably scaring the fishes to the illegal end of the reservoir~ however i still was able to loacte some haruans laying on the banks for a nice snack a small minnow wobbling in their line of strike shld be an easy take hehe and so i went searching saw my 1st haruan laying abt 6m away from me i approached with cautious and they are really visual fish a shadow will spook them away did a long cast and started to retrieve with little twitch once it once near ... BAM! hit the lure hard! heres my 1st haruan of the day
the next guy was quite a distance away from the first guy i didnt really see him thou i was blind casting along the banks then i saw a shadow chasing it and follow by some ripples done when its chasing however didnt hit it nicely cast again and this time it bit hard!
alrighty thats for last week !
Stay Tuned !

Re: Haruan hunt!
I like the first Haruan. It has all the fins intact, it would have made a nice specimen picture. Good job landing two!

Re: Haruan hunt!
Back again! with CRs!!!
ALrighty lets get started with the kallang canal! surprising it contains some pbs even after being netted by those foreigners
Setup used
Rod:Majorcraft Volkey 1 PC Bait Finesse System Series 3-8lb 1/32oz-1/4oz Regular Action
Reel:Daiwa Alphas With Zonda Finesse Spool
Line:5lb FC No Leader
Lure used: Ryuki Spearhead and rubbers
This guy caught me by surprise i casted my 2 inch rubber out and was letting it sink and once i let it sink all the way i started to retrieve and this guy was on already and for some reason they pbs dun fight that well here ~ =X
a few smallies here and there definitely good fun on finesse set
hybrid cichilds
then came a nice mayan!
A red devil
.
Onto the second day of fishing with my pixy and with same rod and same locatioN!
A surprise catch that made my day!
He doesnt look happy =P but i am
Str8 after the release of the baby soon hock came a nice red devil that took the rubber on the pause
then a few more pbs
Casted a ima survivor only to find a school of pb attacking it heres one that got hooked
Onto my next trip to BR
With my alphas and volkey
Lured for an hour or so and was about to pack up to visit my haruan spot then came a nice pb then took the rapala finesse sinking lure on the drop!
Arrived at my haruan spot did a few cast here and there and found out that one of the ponds was significantly bigger and had more bites!
Rubber with texas rigged with sliding sinker is the way to go in the weedy areas !
this guy was so fat the moment i caught it and release it , it started to spit out its pass meal which contains large amount of goldfish and a frog!
Then its a CR which i went BR yesterday during the afternoon was all the way near to the floating platform then i caught a glimpse of a beautiful creature
Can u see it?
its a truly a nice sight to catch!
If u saw was it is comment and i shall see if u guess correct or not hahahs
Went back to the past legal area and saw a pair of oscars i casted my rubber infront and jig it abit and the darker one took it! and boy was it a good fight!
ALL fishes were RELEASED after the phototaking session!
Till Next Time Tight Lines And Good Luck!
