You guys are sooooo lucky, it is too cold here  (24 degrees F) I went this weekend and used a ZOOM trick worm Watermelon seed green on a Texas rig and didn't get Jack Squat :( and that normally does the trick year round...... at least it has before.... may just need to hang up my rod till February

I wouldn't want to freeze my butt fishing in that temperature, kind of makes me appreciate the climate here. But then again, you probably wouldn't like the high humidity here either. :p

Another hunt hahahs new spot hint at kallang's certain canal but the chance of hitting one is slim i hunted for like 2hrs of constant casting and finally a large surface at the opposite bank casted my popper frog and pop it till in the middle of the channel then a silent take nutthing dramatic but juz gulp... then the whole lure is gone.. waited for like 5secs then gave it a hard strike wham! the pull was intense and wow fighted for a good 5 mins i went down to lipped it only to find out how lucky i was to the hook was abt to be shaken off already :D :D
heres the canal

That looks like a big Haruan, and a fat one too. :D It's interesting to see one managed to grow to that size in a place that open and frequent by fishermen. Perfect reward for your 2 hours of non-stop luring!

Alright went to btp again today! but undortunately went there after the morning frenzy.. there was quite a number of people at btp today the catch rate aint that good but nevertheless self made recipe of kng stuffs still produces result! my friend got patins and rohus but unfortunately he lost a HUGE patin that bented his hook it literally brought him for a ride but sadly not landed while he was fighting that monster i had a take and guess wad its a monster too ! personal record! ahhash alright lets let the pics do the talking
Went there setup casted the first bomb...
No takes reeel in after a good 15 mins?
baited again and cast out and str8 away like 1 mins a take that kept peeling line of my UL setup
a strong pacu!
Image
and oh my gawd this guy bit off the hook of the bomb rig didnt take a pic thou~ :p
Image
then after a few fish landed by my friend.. i am feeling low cos i didnt have takes then abt mayybe an hour or so later a take finally!
Image
followed by one more patin i think then the monster came
the monster that peeled my line and feels like a rock
Image
a monster walking cat i dun rlly noe the weight on it
i guess u guys have to estimate it!
need to muster all my strength to hold it up!
Image
a comparison on the length and the size of this monster!
AS LONG AS MA LEG!!?

hahahs definitely not one of the best day of pond fishing but still the large cat in the end is the way to end it!

The catch ain't bad at all and the walking catfish is bigger than your leg! :D There truly must be something in your Kng recipe that makes you shine out in that crowd of anglers. :eyebrow: Thanks for sharing your catch report with us!

Alrighty guys im back with a CR . Fw3 has been a disappointment time after time its either i get hooked ontop a huge fish and have to ability to pump up or the hook juz doesnt set. Used baits ranging from chicken liver to kunning to live bait. And finally after numerous trip i was rewarded for one A big cpc ! enjoy!
Rod: Rodford Spartan 8-14lb? not sure around there
Reel: Shimano Stradic 3000
Line: 15 LB PP FG to 30lb FC leader

Maybe it's just one of those dry spells we anglers have, don't worry about it. That cpc is a good comeback already, nice catch!.
