This trip was to kallang canal .... was having some fun with the smallies with my newbie friend Using Pole rods it was gre8 fun to see the float sink and catch so many varieties of fishes . Was considered lucky already since that canal has always been filled with lengs by the foreigners... they juz take everything
what i cant understand is that they would occasionally catch a pleco and what they do was to juz leave it on the ground to die
anyways setup was poles rods with float rigs bait was the normal bread ^.^
Nice small zebra tilapia that provided a gre8 fight on my 7ft pole ^.^
then came a orangy tilapia?
the common mayan we always catch in canals ^.^
then some sort of hybrid? have been catching these quite frequently
small Fiisshhy
Total catches ^.^
PS: ALL FISHES ARE RELEASED ^.^

Thanks for posting up all your recent catches.
Looks like you've been actively fishing and looking for new spots, good for you! I'd love try to fish for those cichlids if it weren't too far for me, looks like a nice quiet spot to fish. Great job landing those peacock bass, and that unanticpated haruan.

It's one thing to catch the fish for food or even sell them but to leave them there to die is not right.

I love these feeding frenzy, as with a school of small toman. They're particularly aggressive when they're competing for your lure.
Nice catches!
